Bike tour in the Isle of Baleal

What do you think of when you imagine your perfect morning bike trip?

Picture this: Early morning, after a healthy and hearty breakfast, you hop on your favorite bike for a short ride. Cruising along the beach side, taking in fresh air and smell of salt water hitting your face. Then, you ride all the way to the top of a cliff, just to take in the view. And go back, being greeted by pleasant sun rays, energizing your body with vitamin D and your soul with a little bit of warmth.

Now… Can you imagine any other better way to start a day?

That’s how a “regular” Thursday morning was for this adventurous group of friends. This bike class started with a scenic tour along the 10 km Ferrel coastline, enjoying the view, the weather and the salty air, then we went back to Baleal, where we visited the Isle and basked in its natural beauty and quaint architecture, only to be treated with a breathtaking view of Peniche and Baleal to close the tour. A tiresome trip without a doubt, but very much worth it nonetheless. Especially when you have a spa session waiting for you, to unwind and relax those muscles!
